I’d like to give all praises to the Most High, my Father, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

I am so thankful for the heartaches, betrayals, lessons, wins, and losses He has brought me through—before nursing school, during nursing school, and even those yet to come.

I stopped carrying the battle alone and gave it over to God, and that is when everything fell into place. The Word says in Proverbs 3:5–6:

“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.”

I now see how necessary it all was to make me the nurse that I am today.

I want to remind those who feel like they are in a rush with time that Proverbs 21:5 states:

“Careful planning leads to profit, acting too quickly leads to poverty.”

You are right where God needs you to be. Be kind and patient with others and with yourselves. Give grace, just as the Lord gives grace unto you.

If you are a child of Christ, have peace in knowing that, according to Romans 8:28:

“All things work together for good to them that love God, and to them who are the called according to His purpose.”

And no matter what the devil may TRY to do, hinder, or destroy, HE WILL NOT PREVAIL, because Romans 8:31 says:

“If God be for us, who can be against us?”

Our King has NEVER lost a battle, and He NEVER will. We are covered under His blood, and we must remember that through all trials and tribulations.

Psalm 23:4–6 says:

“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.”

I am stepping into my calling for this season of my life with gratitude and abundance, ready to serve Him by serving His people.
