Meet Melissa (aka Meli): the final 1/3 of the Solid Sixes.

driven by both passion and precision, my life is a study in contrasts. i’m a scientist by trade, but a modern renaissance woman by nature.

as a reader, book binder and creative with a soft spot for horsepower, I romanticize everything. ink on paper, light in a room, the roar of a V8 engine coming to life.

i’m an obligate introvert who still never says no to a girls’ night out. fair warning though: i will be late, very overdressed, and equally as unapologetic about both.

Meet Addy: 1/3 of the Solid Sixes.

i’m the one who will order a Captain Diet before you finish your sentence, talk you into a Coors Light at the dive bar when it’s been a long one, and absolutely peer pressure you into a Rumpleminze shot at some point in our friendship. not sorry about it. 🥃

by day i’m knee deep in content calendars and creative strategy at my social media job, by night i’m working at a speakeasy, which means i hear things. the kind of things you tell a bartender because the lighting is low and your drink is strong and somehow it just feels safe. i love that part. it’s the real reason I can never get out of the hospitality industry.

being a perfect ten is overrated.

welcome to solid sixes, the corner of the internet for women who are done chasing perfect. we’re three friends (two since high school, one who showed up exactly when she was needed) who believe female friendship is one of the most powerful, ridiculous, life-saving things on earth. it all started with girls’ weekends in Boulder Junction, WI. skinny dipping, bonfires, inside jokes, and (sometimes) handing out hurricane shots. that’s where this whole thing started.

our dream is to open a bar someday. a leopard print pool table, a few too many neon signs, mismatched bar stools, occasionally sticky floors with good stories behind them, and a jukebox that plays Pink Pony Club at least once a night. low lighting, high vibes, and a bartender who remembers your drink. a place where every person who walks through the door is a future regular.

until then, this is that place.
