The process of moving is never fun, especially doing it alone. I moved to DC two years ago from Jersey and have been trying to find community and peace.
I finally found it & it’s still growing.

In these past two years, God has had me in a season of patience and holding on to my faith in Him.

I didn’t realize it until this week lol.

Every journey, (fake) heartbreak, era, success and loss that I took while being here has only strengthened me into the woman and friend that I am today. She’s still a work in progress so bear with her. 🫣

Feel Alive

I find myself being a highly optimistic person. I’m always looking at the brighter side of life when others tell me to “think realistically” or they themselves look at the worst possible outcome.
Recently I have been too.

This verse is what keeps me going.

Shows me that no matter what, keep praying. Be persistent in my prayers. Hold on to my faith in God.

This is what’s bringing the optimism and joy back in my life.

Community is very important to me. The people in this photo (and those not pictured) truly made my two years in the DMV so much more tolerable. Yes, even you Ezra.

Friends near and far. Bad times and greater. Y’all have made this Jersey girl feel so welcomed out here.
