SOLIS, SOHO: A new chapter begins…

Solis started with an idea: that the best food is often the simplest. Grilled chicken. Charred steak. Dishes shaped over generations, across Spain, Portugal, Uruguay and Argentina, always cooked over an open flame.

We opened our first restaurant at Battersea Power Station back in 2023, not really knowing where it would take us. A counter at Tottenham Court Road followed, then an open kitchen in the heart of Covent Garden. Now, this October, we bring you our first restaurant in the West End - on Kingly Street, Soho.

It’s the first time we’ve had the space to fully realise everything Solis was meant to be. A proper bar pouring sangria by the jug and cocktails like our Hibiscus & Agave. New dishes, from Uruguayan-style prawn cocktail to baked torta pascoalina. Bigger cuts made for sharing, like our Chateaubriand with chimichurri. And a room - long bar, cosy booths, corner tables - built for lingering long after the plates are cleared.

We can’t wait to welcome you in.

Our Torta de Queso, a Solis favourite for a reason.

Caramelised on the outside, deliciously gooey in the centre. Creamy, light, and finished with a generous drizzle of berry sauce and a touch of sea salt.

Our signature smoky spatchcock chicken, painted in Aji-Aji oil and cooked low over fire until the skin turns crispy, while the meat stays impossibly juicy.

The kind of dish that doesn’t need dressing up. It arrives exactly as it should - charred perfectly, messy in the right way, and made to be pulled apart at the table. by @solisgrill
