Honor up. Honor down. Honor all around. The Word calls it submitting one unto another. Ephesians 5:21

When we stop truly valuing those that serve alongside of us, when we stop seeing them for who they are but what they do for us, that is when we lose the wonder that God would stir in someone’s to help us with the vision God has given us.

As leaders we must slow down and remember: if it’s not about people, it’s not about God. As leaders we must disciple the ones serving alongside of us. It is our responsibility to sow value, the Word, and vision into them so they can pass it along to the ones we are all trying to reach.

Employees and volunteers care less about banquets once a year and more about actually having relationship and connection with the ones they serve. A thank you, a word of exhortation, an encouraging text, a hug, or simply a thoughtful, “How are you doing?” Goes a long way. #selah

This is ESPECIALLY true for women and men over 40. STOP doing endless cardio. It has its place, but for women, it works against what you really want to see in the mirror.

As we get older in age we lose muscle mass if we don’t INTENTIONALLY build muscle. Getting stronger sends a message to every system in your body to keep thriving and working.

If you’re not lifting, you’re growing old. If you’re lifting and progressively adding the weight over time, you’re giving your body all of the signals to stay young and thrive. #health #fitness #weightraining #wisdom by @soliskassi

I can’t keep up with all of the national holidays, but I couldn’t miss this one. When I found out yesterday was National daughter’s I had to post. Even if it’s late.

As your daughters grow and seasons change, your love for them grows even greater. Even if miles separate you or your relationship changes, your love for them fires even greater.
