Awkward low quality photos to show you my 3rd crochet project!!!!! Took me a few days of yarn after work 🧶 free hand again, learned stuff to make a better version next time & will eventually take proper photos of my projects. Being okay with learning
There’s so many skills and mediums I want to try but I’ve always been scared because it’s discouraging to be bad at things. But damn if I had started sewing or painting when I was in high school yeah I would’ve made a lot of shitty stuff but by now I would be making some pretty dope stuff too. It’s not a revolutionary thought but you gotta be bad at something before you get good, and if you don’t let yourself be bad first it will simply never exist. Im practicing making things just to make them without any expectation of them being great or even good, but just to exist and learn. Here’s a quick painting I did on some cardboard. by @solmakes__

I love flip phones they’re so fun. When I was a kid my mom had a pink one with a pull out antenna (Sanyo SCP-200) and I wanted it so bad. Sad I missed that era (I got a wholeeeee opinion on why the 00s were the best era for technology). I had an idea for a mirror flip phone and couldn’t find any online to buy so I made one! I have a vision u see it 🙂‍↕️ excited to pull this out to put on my lipgloss, slide keyboard one next once I figure out how to protect the glass since it’s not a flip, ttyl <3 by @solmakes__
