We’re back with another favorite head >>> Aviv Cohen. Drummer, composer, and one of the familiar voices of Israel’s jazz scene.
Known for his versatility and musical sensitivity, Aviv moves effortlessly between ensembles, always bringing a distinctive rhythmic language and a deep sense of listening to every performance.

Read his words, feel the rhythm.

Sharing this wonderful piece from Sol Monk’s performance at the @jerusalemjazzfestival last June.

It’s an instrumental live version of ‘She Said’, from his latest release ‘New Moves’.

OUT NOW - ‘Sands Don’t Sleep’, album by Sol Monk

Drummer @solmonk1 is back with another album. ‘Sands Don’t Sleep’ is his second album with the trio - guitarist @tamuzdekel and bassist @dorsambass, joining him for another adventure following 2025’s freewheeling ‘New Moves’. These six tracks tighten their sound and expand their horizons, fusing acid jazz, Afrobeat and house into a twirling, grooving trip. Producer @rejoicer1 (who guests on bass and keys) gives the album a psychedelic shine that echoes long after the final note.
