A few frames from Labor of Love that we can’t stop thinking about. 🎞️

We decided to shoot on rehoused vintage Canon FD lenses that lended a richness and human feel to the imagery. Add in that beautiful light of late fall in the New Mexico desert and you’ve got a recipe for some pretty magical scenes.

“Labor of Love” — our documentary with the Continental Divide Trail Coalition — is one we keep coming back to, and we think you should too.

Led by @davis.huber and @zeppelinzeerip, we followed staff and volunteers deep into the desert of Southern New Mexico to document the painstaking, passionate work of trail restoration. What we thought would be a simple project film turned into something much bigger: a story about community, stewardship, and what it really means to love a place.

Stoked on how this product launch campaign for @hoka + @goretexbrand came to life 👟.

We took a different approach to the typical product launch video - using a scripted format and host character to demonstrate technical product features both in the lab and on the trail with a bit of humor and cheekiness mixed in to keep things engaging.
