Susan sent me this photo that popped up in her memories recently. Makes me miss Orion and all the wonderful times we had. He was such a sweet, gentle soul. Easiest horse I’ve ever broke! He’s barely 4 years old in this photo 💙 taken in Hebron, Maryland by @solocowgirl

Deer cuttin’ up day 2021

Hunting is fun and all, but there’s a lot more that goes into it than just shooting a deer…. Tracking, dragging, gutting, hanging, skinning, cutting, grinding and packaging. Thanks to everyone who helped with today’s venture! taken in Quantico, Maryland by @solocowgirl

I miss my sister, Amy. She lives half a world away in Hong Kong. She sent me this photo yesterday after a 5 hour hike. I can’t wait to go visit her next year and go on amazing hikes and emerge myself into Chinese culture. One day, I will travel the world 🌏 by @solocowgirl

Losing a loved one is never easy. I lost my boy “Art” a couple days ago and I’m devastated beyond belief. Over the past 19 years I’ve taken him on numerous trail rides, game shows, birthday parties, church events, you name it, we’ve done it. He’s been so many first rides for children and adults. Art was a crabby Appaloosa who was always sticking his tongue out, but a sweetheart nonetheless. Rest In Peace my boy. You will surely be missed. by @solocowgirl
