a solo rainy day in aix-en-provence, spent exactly how a day in the south of france should be: wandering around with no particular destination, stopping at every little shop, romanticizing the architecture, buying things i absolutely cannot fit in my luggage, and treating pastries as a food group.

also, a very important travel lesson: however many madeleines you think you need with you, double it 🍋 they travel well.
