I knew I would need casting help this year while producing the festival and navigating postpartum with an infant.

Grateful for the support and collaboration behind the scenes! 🤝❤️

The Cubans
By Michael León
Direction by Jacob G. Padrón
PRTT, Manhattan

The Cubans turns the classic American family drama into a quintessential Miami story — a poignant, humorous exploration of the fraught generational dynamics and struggle for identity in a Cuban-American family.

Christy returns home to Miami at a crossroads in her personal and professional life. As the family gathers to celebrate her brother Martin’s graduation, she clashes with her strong-willed mother, Martica, over her life choices and expectations for the future. But when a life-shattering event changes everything, the Valientes are forced to confront their relationships, reckon with where they come from, and find a way forward together. by @solprojectnyc

TODAY at 7 p.m.!!!

Stop by for Day 3 of SolFest at @pregonesprtt for Welcome to Clowntown by @tanyaperezrulez directed by Lorca Peress!!!

Welcome to Clowntown is an NSFW interactive solo show where Pixie spills the wild stuff while roping consenting audience members into unhinged party games. This mad‐capped adventure blends oral storytelling, clown chaos, and the survival grind of a Latina entertainer whose alter ego says the quiet part out loud about this topsy‐turvy world. With exciting new additions to the show, Leila Ghaznavi (Sesame Street, The Turn of the Screw) will make a special appearance.

Please note that this performance is for 18+ audiences and includes sexual situations, potty-mouth language, and clowns.
