We’ve had so many new faces join our page lately, so here’s a quick re-introduction!

✨ Solshine Events is a woman- and family-owned venue in Central Florida offering faith-filled, stress-free, all-inclusive celebrations for weddings, quinceañeras, Sweet 16s, baby showers, milestone events, and more.

Solshine is co-owned by Myriam, a worship singer of many years, mom of three boys, and proud grandma and Stephanie — an army reservist, mom of three boys, youth leader and nursing student. Together, we built Solshine to reflect what we both believe in deeply:

We created Solshine to be the kind of place we wished existed when we were planning events — a space that’s peaceful, beautiful, and fully taken care of.

Hiii 👋🏽☀️ Since there are some new faces around here, let me reintroduce myself!

I’m Stephanie — just one of the faces behind Solshine Events and the one behind a whole lot of the emails, inquiries, planning, coordinating, decorating, and “okay, I got it!” moments around here 😂

What started as an idea has turned into a space where we get to watch families celebrate some of the sweetest moments of their lives, and we genuinely don’t take that lightly. 🥹🤍

We’re still growing, still learning, and still pouring so much love into making Solshine a place where you can show up, celebrate, and make memories with your people. ☀️

What if it actually works out? 🥹☀️

So many of the best things in life start with a little bit of fear and a whole lot of “okay God… I’m trusting You.”

Starting Solshine didn’t come with a guarantee. We didn’t know exactly what we were doing or what it would become — we just knew we had to start.

And now we get to stand back and watch this little dream become part of people’s birthdays, weddings, baby showers, celebrations and memories. 🥹🤍

Sometimes the bigger risk really is never finding out what could’ve been.

So whatever that thing is that you keep thinking about…

Do it. Start. Trust God with the rest. ☀️

Sometimes you don’t realize it while you’re in the middle of it… but every step is preparing you for what’s next. 🥹☀️

Every event, every late night, every lesson, every mistake, every client who trusts us with their special moments — it’s all been part of the journey.

We’re still learning. Still growing. Still building. And most importantly, still trusting God with where He’s taking Solshine. 🤍

What feels small today may be preparing you for something so much bigger tomorrow. Just keep going. ☀️

Sometimes the only difference between where you are and where you want to be is being willing to start. 🥹☀️

We definitely didn’t have everything figured out when we started Solshine. We’ve learned, adjusted, made mistakes, tried again, and we’re STILL learning every single day.

But I’m so grateful we started anyway. 🤍

You don’t have to be an expert to begin. You just have to be willing to take the first step and trust God with the rest.

There is no “out of office” when you manage the business 😭😅☀️

Whether I’m at the venue or 100 miles away, there’s always an email to answer, an inquiry coming in, a client question, a schedule to manage, or a last-minute change. 😂

Solshine comes wherever I go ☀️🤍

And apparently… so does my laptop. 😭😂

There’s something so powerful about continuing to believe even when you have no idea how it’s all going to work out. 🥹☀️

Solshine has taught us that over and over again.

There have been slow seasons, stressful seasons, moments we questioned ourselves, and plenty of times we couldn’t see what God was doing… but we kept showing up. Kept creating. Kept serving. Kept trusting.

And little by little, He reminds us why we started. 🤍

We may not know exactly what’s next for Solshine, but we know Who does.

So here’s to trusting the process, doing the work, and leaving the rest in God’s hands. ☀️
