POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

What a pleasure it was to world premiere this beautiful piece for guitar duo. ‘The Space Between’ by @taralynam.music explores the feelings of being in a space between two chapters in our lives. As one chapter closes, we hover and wait for the next one to begin.

We feel the bittersweet mixture of joy and sadness and we reflect on past memories and hold on to this anxious anticipation of not knowing what is next. In the end, a sense of resolve is regained with the reminder that there is purpose in allowing ourselves to be in the space between.

MASTERS COMPLETE!! Our 6 months in Alicante has come to an end. What an incredible experience it has been to participate in the @alicanteguitarraclasica . Along the journey we have made some life long friends that now we consider family, ate so much tapas, and have mastered the skill of ordering cervezas in Spanish.

Thankyou to everyone who has made this chapter in our lives so special and forever imbedded in our memories.

A special thankyou to Ignacio and Malena, the @potterculturaltrust for making this opportunity possible, to our parents Merran, John, Robert and Pieter, and to our fellow pupils. From the bottom of our hearts, we thankyou ❤️❤️ by @solsticeguitarduo

Enrique Granados’ Dance No.6 ‘Rondalla Aragonesca’ is certainly one of our favourites to perform. And what a pleasure to perform a great Spanish dance at @lascigarrerascc for a great crowd.

On Sunday, we performed our first concert in Spain with @alicanteguitarraclasica at the Palau Del Portalet, a beautifully crafted and historical building where Francisco Tarrega performed one of his last concerts.

Thankyou to the wonderful audience and other members of the course for your support! See you at the next one :)

Hello Solstice fans!

It’s been three weeks since starting the Masters course at @alicanteguitarraclasica and what a great time we’ve had so far. The inauguration into the course, where Dom received a D’Addario scholarship, masterclasses with the great David Russell, beautiful views of the Mediterranean, and a couple beers along the way. It’s truly been an amazing first 3 weeks.
Our first concert is coming up on the 8th Feb (international debut baby)
A massive thankyou to the @potterculturaltrust for getting us here :)

Hope you are all well xx taken in Alicante, Spain by @solsticeguitarduo
