BIODYNAMIC FRESH FERMENTED RAW FOOD ~ Designed by Nature, Protected by Solutions. 👩‍🌾🌿🐐🐓👩‍🔬 Biodynamic Nutrition using Fresh Fermented Raw Processing is an upstream practice that protects vitality at the source, from living soil and biodiversity-rich farms to careful handling that preserves the food’s natural integrity.

It prioritizes a plastic-free, chemical-free process that goes beyond “organic inputs” by treating the farm and manufacturing as a whole organism throughout the process.

To safely preserve food, we use Hurdle Technology, which combines multiple mild, synergistic safeguards that nurture microbial growth while protecting quality.

Instead of using the widely used downstream technology of HPP, a harsh processing method that denatures proteins, inactivates enzymes, and modifies their physical structure, we add fermentation using FFRP or Fresh Fermented Raw Processing. Fermentation significantly improves the nutritional value and functional properties of raw foods and is a highly effective food safety measure for shelf stability and spoilage prevention.

HPP has microbial reduction after the product is already made and is sealed in its plastic packaging. Extreme pressure is applied to the package, which modifies the polymers and leeches packaging chemicals, such as phthalates, into the food, including traces of n-hexanal and other hydrocarbons.

With Biodynamic Nutrition using fermentation, you get a “living food” approach with an extra layer of functional nutrition.

Our practice delivers maximum vitality with minimum interference: nutrient-dense ingredients from living healthy farms, preserving native microflora, paired with fermentation that enhances digestibility, adds functional compounds, and contributes beneficial microbes that would otherwise be lost. by @solutionspetproducts

THE OLD WORLD HEALTH FOOD 🐑
This is not a trend.

Fermented milks have existed for thousands of years, with evidence suggesting their production dates back to around 10,000 BCE, shortly after animal domestication began. It's one of the oldest food processes we use, and it became a built-in way to keep foods stable before refrigeration.

WHY is it amazing? The list is LONG.
Here are some highlights: 👉 👉 👉 👉

🌿❤️ FROM NATURE, WITH LOVE — LET’S TALK HEART HEALTH!

Did you know that certain herbs have been used for centuries to support cardiovascular wellness?

At Hero’s Pets, we believe holistic wellness means understanding how the body's systems work together—and choosing thoughtfully formulated products that support the whole animal. 🐶🐱

Meet two fascinating botanicals featured in Solutions Pet Products' I Heart You herbal blend!

🌸 HAWTHORN — THE HEART HERB
Traditionally valued for its cardiovascular benefits, hawthorn contains naturally occurring flavonoids and antioxidants.

❤️ Supports healthy circulation and blood flow
🩸 Traditionally used to support cardiovascular function
🛡️ Provides antioxidant compounds that help protect cells from oxidative stress
💧 May influence blood pressure and fluid balance, making appropriate use especially important

💜 LAVENDER — MORE THAN A BEAUTIFUL FLOWER
Lavender is widely recognized for its aromatic properties, but it also has a history of traditional herbal use.

🌿 Traditionally associated with relaxation and calming support
💜 Contains naturally occurring antioxidant compounds
🐾 May complement other botanicals in a thoughtfully formulated herbal blend

❤️ WHY SOLUTIONS I HEART YOU?

Solutions combines hawthorn with other botanicals, including lavender, dandelion root, schisandra, oregano, ginkgo, ginseng, arjuna, and garlic, in a formula designed to support cardiovascular wellness.

We love exploring the relationship between heart health, circulation, and whole-body wellness—because supporting one system means understanding how it interacts with the rest of the body.

⚠️ HERBAL WELLNESS REQUIRES INDIVIDUAL CONSIDERATION. Some herbs can affect blood pressure, heart medications, and other treatments. Herbal supplements are not substitutes for veterinary cardiac care, and evidence for these specific benefits relate to dogs and cats.

🌿 Stop by Hero’s Pets and ask our knowledgeable staff about Solutions I Heart You! We can help you explore the ingredients and discuss whether it's worth incorporating into your pet's wellness plan.

⚠️THE SAFETY SEAL HAS BEEN BROKEN. Let’s dive into a lesser-known aspect of HPP.

High Pressure Processing (Pasteurization) is designed to sterilize food inside its final sealed plastic packaging under obscene amounts of pressure. Yet most HPP-treated pet foods are reopened, reground, remixed, or repackaged afterward, exposing the vulnerable food to post-process contamination and compromising the safeguard HPP was meant to provide.

It’s the Achilles’s Heel that no one wants to talk about.

Was the food HPP-treated in its final retail package?
Or was it opened afterward.

Were ingredients or color added later?
Because HPP meat is gray.

Was the finished product tested after its final handling?

The holistic pet food community was built by questioning industrial conventions. Settling for broad assurances, incomplete testing, and convenient half-truths is a retreat into the very mediocrity it once challenged.

🧵🪡Manufacturers/brands should be answering pivotal questions. Here are the basics.

⏩️ Swipe through. Examine the process. Ask where the denaturing and safety claim ends and the finished food begins.

Transparency cannot stop at the holistic aisle.

FOUR PRODUCTS WALK INTO A BOWL. THE RECEIPT LEAVES WITH YOUR WALLET.

For a 50 lb dog, the average raw beef recipe costs about $15 per day.
Add goat milk, greens and a probiotic powder, and the daily total climbs to $21.33.

Solutions Fresh Fermented Raw Beef Recipe: $6.72 per day.

That is a difference of $14.61 every day, $438.30 every month, and a rather astonishing $5,332.65 every year.

The scandal is not the topper. Milk, greens, broths and probiotics can make mealtime joyful, beautiful and highly personalized. The real question is whether you are adding them because you want to, or buying them to recreate nutritional functions the base meal lacked.

Solutions’ A.P.E.X. formulation already brings together grassfed and grass-finished beef, nutrient-dense organs, bone, gelatin, purposeful animal fats, raw sheep milk, fermented eggs and cod liver, fermented phytonutrients, organic greens and billions of naturally occurring probiotics within one complete, living wholefood matrix.

Amino acids, healthy fats, omegas, microbes, prebiotics, postbiotics and wholefood cofactors arrive together, ready to work together.

Build the bowl for pleasure.
Choose the foundation with your calculator switched on.

Compare the finished meal. Then compare the year. by @solutionspetproducts

OooooK well this little red dog had surgery 😖❤️‍🩹 last Monday in Seattle with his veterinarian oncologist and we’re nearly to a week out!
He’s honestly doing really well. 💪❤️‍🩹
There’s been A LOT of time in his cone, along with a few pretty restless nights, but these little recovery jammies 🦖🦕 have made it sooooo much easier to give Declan more freedom while he heals! (ALSO they are too dang adorable, right!?! 🥰)
He romped in the yard yesterday, all full of his usual piss and vinegar and it makes my heart very happy!

He’s getting PEMF every day now to speed things along and his Solutions Milks, CBD Dog Heal and MycoDog Vitality have been integral in his recovery!! Thanks Chelsea Kent and Angela Ardolino, we love and appreciate what you all do for our aging pets out there!! taken in Prairie Dog Pet Mercantile by @solutionspetproducts

When we remove our food supply from its natural order, we disrupt its cycles and have to attempt to circumvent the damage by further disrupting them. Sick animals cannot produce healthy food - truly, a sick environment cannot produce healthy food.

It's interesting to note that damage compounds generation to generation. This is why "results" are often so hard to quantify regarding nutrition or environmental practices - it may take many generations of compounding effect to truly understand the full impact of our "interventions".

A GIFT FROM THE SEA 🌊 Long before our Fish Broth swooshes in the bowl, its quality has already been decided by the water, the fishery, the handling, and the people entrusted with the catch.

We have earned our reputation for exacting, ethically minded sourcing, with standards that rank among the most rigorous in pet food. Here, that commitment reaches the cold waters of the North Atlantic, where wild fish swim freely, feed naturally, and are harvested through well-managed fisheries attentive to the health of the ocean and the coastal communities that depend upon it.

⚓️ Independent fishermen bring the catch ashore. A shortened, carefully controlled supply chain moves it swiftly through processing and cold storage, helping to preserve freshness and protect its delicate marine fats. Every pound remains traceable, with routine quality monitoring and heavy-metal testing providing a record as considered as the sourcing itself.

🪝🐟 Bones, heads, connective tissues, whole fish, and livers are chosen for their extraordinary nutritional value. The practice respects the life taken, makes fuller use of each catch, and leaves far less to waste.

🧜🏻‍♂️ 🫧We are guardians of the sea, working within an ecosystem rather than merely taking from it. Our stewardship is where Fish Jiggles begins. by @solutionspetproducts
