Its important to recognize emotions. There is a reason we feel the emotions we do and it is ok to feel them. However feeling an emotion and acting on an emotion are 2 very different things

You reinforce your emotions when you choose to act on them

You cannot control the way you feel in the moment. You can however choose to act on certain emotions appropriately to slowly change your emotional reaction to these stimuli. Be very careful how you choose to act on emotions you do not want to feel

For example, if youre angry, instead of lashing out, have a calm and collected discussion with whoever or whatever made you angry by @solwaf

I heard something a while ago that really struck a chord with me. "Unlike your conscious mind, your subconscious cannot tell the difference between fiction and reality". In the context I saw it, it was referring specifically to overly realistic movies. But this phrase digs up many hidden issues today that go ignored far too often. This marked a monumental shift in how i saw the world

One of the things I discovered during this shift was the interaction between our brains and videos of our past

When you choose to record an event, whether its through writing, painting, or photography, there comes the assumption of revisiting it some time in the future. This is an important tool, that can be used in a healthy manner. These forms of recording that do not play too much with the senses are harmless to the subconscious. When you read a written recording, a voice plays in your head and imagery plays in your mind, but it is not the actual event and requires the aid of your imagination. There is a healthy, minimal gap between what your conscious and subconscious mind is experiencing. With painting and photography, this gap is still minimal

But then we add in voice recording and the gap widens. You are hearing a voice, and consciously, you know this person speaking is not really there. But your subconscious is not aware of this

Then we add motion picture on top of the audio. An old video of you playing with a friend who moved away a few years ago. Replaying the laughs and silly inside jokes through your phone speakers over and over

"Youre just meeting up with an old friend again!" is an optimistic response I would expect. But if you were meant to meet up with that friend again, it would have happened in real life. With this technology playing with our eyes and our ears, a relationship between two people can be extended far past what was meant to be the end, but only for one side

This becomes even more dangerous when the videos you are viewing include a dead loved one or an ex romantic partner

We were never meant to be able to capture memories for our eyes to see and our ears to hear over and over decades later

I dont know about you guys but i think english class really tainted writing as an art for me. The whole essay format in particular. Specifically argumentative essays but all essays actually.So like you need to use all the grammar rules we taught you because i said so and if you dont make a proper noun capitalized or put the comma in the right spot youll fail and also you have to do a bunch of research to understand your topic. Oh you already have several points for your topic in your mind and dont need to research uhhhh research anyways you need sources lol then you have to have a hook to really REEL in the audience haha pun lolol ok so then introduce your topic and bring up AT LEAST 3 POINTS needs to be at least 3 points in 3 different paragraphs or else. Btw paragraphs need to be at least 3 setences too guys. I love the number 3 such a cool number andNo run on sentences or whatever and also you cant be funny because this is serious youre trying to persuade/_educate people WHY AM I DOING THIS FOR OTHER PEOPLE WHAT WHY ARE YOU TELLING ME /THE ARTIST BY THE WAY/ WHY IM DOING THIS im making art. Writing is an art .Tell me why i should care about trying to persuade or educate anyone you vapid slimeball(referring to the teacher strawman ["um fallacy" dont care]), im doing this for me "erm what if you want to grow up to be a journalist" "what kind of fucking loser would want to be a journalist", he retorted while snickering. "Ok well you still have to be professional"

WHERE IS THE LINE BETWEEN PROFESSIONALISM AND LOSS OF AUTONOMY?

Also you need a conclusion parAHAHAHAHHA No. I dont actually. Ill make one anyways though but ONLY because i feel like it

This has been an argumentative essay against argumentative essays in non-argumentative essay format. I think. Might actually still be essay format. I didnt really pay attention in english class. "ummm nawaf you just invalidated your argument🤓". Your ego is high and your sins stack higher. One day they will come crashing down and squash you like a little bug. No i like bugs thats an insult to bugs. Umm theyll squash you like a Judgemental Person. A really tiny judgemental person that can be squashed super easily by @solwaf
