YouTube.com/@soma79 My new single & video “Doomsday for a Man of Steel” is now available on YouTube! Featuring Esoteric from Czarface @czarface_eso Kool Keith @officialkoolkeith Aztech from Hybrid Thoughts @aztechyi and produced by UPGR4DE, this track is the first single off my upcoming album, “Drinking Songs for Children,” a 12 track exploration of the ups and downs of addiction and mental health, featuring appearances by: Ras Kass @ras_kass Elzhi @elzhi Young Dirty Bastard @youngdirtybastardofficial Mac Lethal @maclethal Copywrite @copywrite_emcee78 Esoteric @czarface_eso Kool Keith @officialkoolkeith Pilze Beats @pilzebeats Concept @conceptthehashtronaut Aztech from Hybrid Thoughts @aztechyi Craig Cameron @craigrock3242 Against the Green @againstthegreen …plus a few surprise guests that you won’t see coming! While other albums of mine have been recorded and released in the meantime, “Drinking Songs for Children” has been my long term project, starting around 2005 and finally mixed and mastered in 2021. Each of the 12 songs on the album will be released as a single with an accompanying music video over the next couple years, at the end of which the full album will be available. Each video will have a unique look and feel, including elements of live action, animation, puppetry and more. The next single & video from “Drinking Songs for Children” will drop later this spring, stay tuned for further announcements. This project could only have been done over the course of a long period of time. I’ve spent a lot of time working on it behind the scenes in the last few years and much of it is already shot and edited while the rest of it is in the works and will be released in between my other albums and singles that I have coming (such as my next album “Zero for the Day” with @anthonychurchmusic). Thanks for all the love and support so far! This project is going to be something really different and unique and extremely multi media. I hope you stick around for the journey, and I greatly appreciate every like, share and follow 🙌 ✌️❤️, -Soma79 by @soma79

“Good People” by Soma79 & Copywrite The 7th (of 12) singles and music videos from the album, “Drinking Songs for Children,” drops 11/6/26 on streaming and at YouTube.com/@soma79 The beat I used on this post is the best for “Good People” and it’s one of the oldest beats I have that hasn’t been used yet. It may have been one of the first beats I ever made that I was actually happy with. I think I made it on a Boss SP-505 twenty years ago. Thank you to @copywrite614 for dropping 24 bars on this one 🙌 This may be the wildest song on the album as it’s all about psychedelics… though worth noting this one has been done and sitting in the vault for close to 10 years (I’ve been busy 🤷‍♀️). 🍺🎵4️⃣👶 I’m also excited to announce that the full album of “Drinking Songs for Children” will be made available shortly for the first time ever… stay tuned for the details! #soma79 #copywrite #goodpeople #drinkingsongsforchildren by @soma79
