As my birthday gets closer, I’ve found myself reflecting more than usual.

A few years ago, I never could have imagined this would be my life.

My book is finally finished.

I own my own company.

I get to wake up every morning knowing that my time, my energy, and my creativity belong to me. I get to build a life on my own terms and be the one who decides where I’m headed.

Success has started to feel different than I thought it would.

It isn’t just about accomplishments. It is waking up one day and quietly realizing you’re living a life you once only imagined. It is having the freedom to create. To learn. To fail. To build. To keep becoming.

I look around at the people in my life and I feel incredibly inspired. Watching my friends build companies, chase impossible goals, and create lives they are genuinely proud of reminds me that courage really is contagious. We are all building something different, but we are all betting on ourselves. There is something beautiful about that.

There was a time when survival was the goal. Now I get to dream.

None of this happened overnight. It came from ordinary days that no one saw. Difficult conversations. Setbacks. Moments of doubt. Choosing to keep going when it would have been easier to stop.

Somewhere along the way, the impossible became ordinary.

I still have so much I want to accomplish, but before I run toward the next goal, I just want to pause for a second and appreciate this moment.

I am grateful for every lesson that shaped me. Grateful for the people who believed in me before I fully believed in myself. Grateful for the people who continue to encourage me, challenge me, and celebrate alongside me.

Most of all, I’m grateful that younger me never stopped believing there was more waiting on the other side of fear.

Here’s to another trip around the sun. More growth. More impact. More courage. More adventures. More love. More building.
