Forget the tool specs… I asked three tradesmen the question that REALLY matters. 😂

What sound does an oscillating multi-tool make?

I got @someguywithtools @plumbingsk8r and @canadiancarpenter to give me their best impression, then took those sounds and dubbed them over actual footage of me using an oscillating tool.

No motor noise. No blade noise.

Just grown men doing their best impression of a power tool. 😂

If you’ve spent enough time around construction sites, power tools and oscillating multi-tools, you already know that unmistakable sound the second someone pulls the trigger.

The question is… who actually nailed it?

From one day to the next, my weeks vary a lot - some days with my @deckedusa drawer system are yardwork and tree trimming - others are on the tools knocking out service calls.

One thing that never changes - the DECKED drawer system is up for the task!

Spending time at DEWALT’s Built Black and Yellow event was an awesome reminder that innovation is about a lot more than just the tools you see on the shelf.

There’s something exciting about getting a firsthand look at the new tools, technologies, and solutions DEWALT is bringing to market, and seeing how they’re designed to make the job easier, faster, and more efficient.

But honestly, one of my favorite parts of events like this is getting behind the scenes and meeting the people who actually make it happen.

Getting to talk with the development teams and product managers, hear the stories behind the products, and see just how much passion and dedication goes into developing what comes next really puts things into perspective.

You’re not just seeing a new tool—you’re seeing the countless hours of ideas, testing, problem-solving, and collaboration that went into bringing it to life.

That’s what makes events like Built Black and Yellow so valuable. You get to see what’s coming next, but more importantly, you get to meet the people behind the innovation.

Big thanks to the @dewalttough team for an incredible experience. I can’t wait to see what’s next.
