When Hands Leave Traces on Gloves by Colombian artist, Natalia Mustafa opens this Friday5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Natalia works mostly with photography, print, artists books, and sculpture. Through these mediums she revisits and dissects different ordinary life objects and icons that relate to the usage of different technologies. She has a keen interest in understanding the relationship between the body and these technologies and is permanently questioning the new notions of time and space, as we become a more digital society. She is concerned about how our body is currently adapting to these technologies and how it will continue to adapt in the future. Natalia has shown her work in The Handbag Factory (London. May 2024), Safehouse 1 (London. May 2024), Southwark Park Galleries (London. February 2024). She had her first solo show at Casas Riegner Gallery (Bogotá, August 2022).

OPEN CALL for PARAÍSO PUBLISHER’S SECTION 🌐

PARAÍSO in collaboration with CALACA Press invites Latin American artists, publishers, editors, & independent cultural projects to apply for the publications section of its inaugural edition.

We are looking for artists’ books, zines, magazines, archival projects and experimental publishing practices connected to Latin America and its diasporas.

We’ll focus on publishing as a counter-currency: circulating culture, image, research and poetic matter through community and independent networks.

Paraíso is taking place at Ambika P3, London
15–18 October 2026

Applications close the 16th of August.

Save the date for the first edition of Paraíso Latin American Art Fair from 15 to 18 October 2026 at Ambika P3.

The first edition of Paraíso features 22 international galleries and projects dedicated to the promotion of Latin American art, alongside eight artists' proposals, a programme of contemporary video art from Central America curated, a section dedicated to editions and publications, and a public programme of academic talks, live performances and workshops, while the VIP area will showcase a site-specific installation by Carlos Amorales.

The aim of Paraíso is to present great contemporary Latin American artists alongside Modern and Postmodern Latin American masters. Each edition will be dedicated to one country; Mexico is the focus of the first edition, with a revisitation of the work of Felipe Ehrenberg, Mexico City (1943–2017) and a special presentation of two video works by Pola Weiss, Mexico City (1947–1990).

Words lose meaning as they are used without fully understanding their original conceptual meaning. The word Radical seems to have lost its meaning — And what if going to the roots is no longer enough? Then we need to go deeper, beyond the roots, dig down and unearth the ground itself, burn it, and lay the foundation for the right seeds of a new cosmic season. We therefore call for TERRADICAL
Thougth & action!

Visit us this week for Pauline Batista’s show, ‘Methylene Blue Dreams’. Late opening this Thursday. And Tuesday to Saturday 12 to 6 pm.

Methylene Blue Dreams begins with a desire that has become increasingly familiar: the desire to optimize ourselves. We are encouraged to become the best versions of who we are, or better yet, who we might be. Better skin, healthier hair, more defined muscles, greater mental clarity and maximum happiness. We work upon ourselves through supplements, wearable technologies that monitor our heart rate, count our steps, and measure our sleep, as well as through superficial and internal medical interventions. We biohack our blood chemistry in pursuit of youthfulness and treat the body as a limitless field of experimentation. In the process, the machine becomes humanized and the human becomes mechanic, as though we were somehow insufficiently ourselves. by @somersgallery
