I promise, no spoilers here!

I just finished watching Carrie. I'm a huge fan of the original (how can you not be) and I had to watch this as fast as possible because I'm also a huge fan of Mike Flanagan.

But really, I'm not sure how I felt about it. I don't think it was bad, it was really good. I just felt like something was.... off?
Am I the only one who feels that way?
Maybe it's just because I've watched the original so many times, I'm not sure.
If you've finished it, what did you think of it?

This Shane Gillis guy is getting attacked for telling jokes... which is his profession.
Metallica is getting called "fascist" because they told their fans they're not going to push their political views onto them, they're going to play music, which is what people usually pay for when they go to a concert.

People seem to forget that everything doesn't have to be catered to them.

Some things aren't meant for you.

I've been told
actions speak louder
than words,
now my heart breaks,
because you don't
kiss me goodnight
anymore.

it's like it disappeared into thin air, never to be seen again.
And we need it now more than ever.

I'll have at least 25 meltdowns about my clothes not fitting within the next month... how many calories will that burn?

My favorite Norwegian treat. 😋
This Brunost is the Christmas version and apparently one of the best ones.

(Excuse the sound of my son singing and banging around in the background)

Are we all gonna pretend this isn't almost exactly what happened in 2020?
Crazy how, coincidentally, it's happening at a time where there are severe diesel and oil shortages as well.
It's eerily similar.
So what are your plans for lockdown season?

In the dark I lay,
my thoughts astray,
filled with an ache
no craving can cure.
It's an emptiness
eating away at
every part of me
i've ever known.

Dear October,
I beg and plead-
pierce through me
take my breath away.
