oh devo dog!

this is a tapestry piece i created for my partner for his birthday this year! in memoriam of his beloved Japanese spitz, Devo! 🍥

this process involved tracing a tattoo my partner has and then putting that image together with other elements using adobe indesign, then putting that poster design into stitch fiddle! let me know if you’d like to see more about the process for this piece 🫶🏼 (it could probably use a bit more of a steam blocking lol) by @sometimes.stitches

using @spotlightstores seaford 10 ply cotton with a 7mm hook 🧶

this one turned out so nice!! i love the fit of it and i took it out on its first beach day/ sea glass hunt today 🫶🏼

just wanted to share my little weekend journey! my partner and i always make an effort to look for craft centres around us when we go camping 🏕️

the forster arts and crafts centre was so special with so much pretty work inside across all mediums and some crazy quilts! they had an entire section that was called “quilts for love” that their members make for families at Ronald Mcdonald House 🙌🏼

happy birthday to me!!

here’s a little filet crochet tapestry to celebrate the occasion, pictured with some of my lovely gifts🧶 (boyfriend says i should make one every year and slowly build up a blanket of number tapestries)
