“Before signing a track, I always ask myself if I’d still play it in ten years.” That line captures @d.julz.

Emerging from Paris early 90s rave scene and shaped by a formative year in New York, he launched Bass Culture at Rex Club in 1997. It became the club’s longest-running residency before evolving into a record label in 2009. Deep, dubby and driven by groove, D’Julz has spent over three decades creating music that outlives the moment.

This Saturday, he brings the sound of Bass Culture to @reunion.dxb. taken in Dubai, United Arab Emirates by @somewhere____________________

Every moment carries a story. Every story has its people.

Hot Axis has always been about the people behind it. The ones with the ideas. The ones making it happen. The ones behind the decks. The ones behind the scenes. And the ones who show up and make the room come alive.

To our team, @jameskhou, @roningrooves, @ejsaroufim, @ralph.nasr, @emilehoukayem, @faresss_t, @yaratemsah, @christiekai, @jenniferabla, @hady___, @berokh, @gaby.karam, @robynharfouche, @eli.abdo , @tarachammas and everyone who has poured their time, energy, ideas and heart into this, thank you. For every late night, early morning, last-minute change, long day, big idea and little detail that no one sees.

And to our artists, @anthon_ofc, @ejsaroufim, @hrag.mikkel, @mattmerheb, @misty_live, @nicmerheb, @ralph.nasr, @rolbac_ofc, @roningrooves and @walidtueni, and every artist who has been part of the Hot Axis family: thank you for trusting us with your sound, your careers and your vision. You are a huge part of what makes this all worth doing.

What we’ve built could never be the work of one person. It’s the sum of every set, every room, every conversation, every idea and every person who has believed in it along the way.

To the team. To the artists. To our crowd. To everyone who has been part of the journey. Here’s to everything we’ve made together, and everything still to come.

This is Hot Axis, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
