I ain’t know either! Though not a national holiday, #MountFujiDay is celebrated on February 23 in #Japan. It’s a day to learn about and appreciate Japan’s tallest mountain, which is also a symbol of the country! I bet you’re wondering what #fujisan and #dance have to do with one another 🤔? Watch til the end, I’ve got you covered 💪🏾!

Crazy thing is, my students and I have been working on a dance to Walk It Out since December of last year 🤯! This is such an untimely death and in addition to the heartbreaking deaths my family have been experiencing, it’s a reminder to live your life and leave your mark TODAY. Walk in your purpose, do YOUR God-given thing, don’t hold anything back. Don’t leave any talents in the grave.

Keep loving, keep smiling, keep dancing! AND it’s good for your health. I want Black people to live longer lives ✨🥹…

#SummerRecap Pt1:

Mayor @andreforatlanta added an excellent addition to his #Yearoftheyouth initiative this summer. Along with summer work programs for traditional avenues of employment, his Office of Cultural Affairs revamped the #ARTSCool apprenticeship program to allow youth interested in being professional artists the opportunity to get PAID to learn from professional artists in the city! Lifetime connections were made and we had a ball teaching our girls about the fast-paced and forever changing field of dance. I hope they walked way knowing there really can be a future in this art for them with the right skill set and mindset. P.S. I could not have done this without @sirxaviercharles 🗣️Happy Birthday! We absolutely held each other down on this rollercoaster ride!
