I had already imagined the epistle I was going to write on my birthday about how 2026 had knocked the living shit out of me. 😂 The lost opportunities, the betrayals, the disappointments, and all the “bla bla bla” that came with it.

But this morning, I woke up, and all I could think about was the goodness of God. The gift of life. The privilege of seeing another year. The opportunity to still chase that dream I’ve been nursing for so long but have been too afraid to pursue. And, most importantly, my family.

Ah, the love at home, mehn! ❤️🥹

I have the kind of family anyone could pray for, and honestly, I don’t take that blessing for granted. In a world where so many things are uncertain, having people who love you, stand by you, and give you a place to call home is a blessing in itself.

So, today, I’m choosing gratitude over everything that didn’t go as planned. I’m choosing to bask in the goodness of God, to celebrate the joy of a new year, and to embrace the beautiful possibilities that still lie ahead.

Because maybe not everything worked out the way I wanted it to, but life has given me another chance. Another year to grow, to heal, to try again, to be brave enough to pursue the dreams I’ve kept tucked away in my heart, and to become the woman I know I can be.

Here’s to life, to love, to family, to God’s faithfulness, and to the courage to begin again. 🥂❤️

4 years with the Lord yet you live vividly in our hearts❤️ I remember the last time I came to see you at home( we went hiking and on our way we decide as usual, let go through federal housing to see mummy) I remember the last conversation we had on the phone, I remember how much I love to hug you🤗 I remember the plans @mercyiyelobu @jenifik1 and I had the night before your departure , it's still hurts but we know you are in a better place where you deserve. I miss you soooo much . Continue to rest in the bosoom of the Lord mummy 🕊️🕊️🥰🤗😍❤️❤️ by @somhi211

There are lots of times we forget to be thankful for what we have, because of what we dnt have, forgetting that God is in Charge of our future and He makes all things beautiful in His time.
