Artist Spotlight 2/2 Chemnitz based artist « nokïa » takes you on a journey through pulsating beats, high-energy breaks, and captivating trance melodies. Ranging from bouncy UK Garage to heavy breakbeats and deep dub sounds. nokïa has it all. « Rosanna Randale » is a DJ from the Leipzig/Halle area and an active part of the local scene, not only behind the decks but also as co-founder of the collective @_moosgrund, which runs events and curates a regular show on @sphere.radio ! Her sets thrive on genre-blending: weaving acid house, groovy tech house, 90s and 2000s gems, trancey touches and detroit techno into a dynamic flow. « dj spa » is grounded in percussive electronic music such as latin bass and breaks with a faible for organic and playfully chaotic sounds. She likes mixing across genres like baile funk, dembow, house and uk garage delivering an uplifting and mood-boosting vibe. « Butschi » is me and I am playing the closing <3 Like on the first event in April, there will also be audioreactive visuals - made with touchdesigner by @freivonstil - on the main room! 🎟️ There are a few tickets left online but there will also be plenty of tickets at the door (18€) by @somnia.sound

Artist Spotlight 1/2 Very glad to have Australia born, Berlin based artist Upper90 on board for SOMNIA VOL.2 ! His distinctive sound has captured the hearts of Dance Music lovers around the world, already having released numerous tracks that have become instant classics. His euphoric approach to producing creates a captivating narrative in his DJ Sets, where you can find lots of his own productions alongside his favorite selection of Hard House and Trance. Also beyooooond excited that Paris-based DJ and producer ERNA is part of the line-up! She is drawing inspiration from electronic music and Afro-diasporic sounds, blending Bass Music, Percussive Techno, and a catchy selecta, forming the vibrant back drop of her performances. ERNA is known for exploring the percussive spectrum that shape her influences - ranging from Batida to Bouyon to Moom-bahton, through curated sets and dynamic B2Bs. 🎟️ There are still a few tickets left on Resident Advisor. There will also be plenty of tickets at the door! (more specific ticket prices for the door will be communicated on the next post) See you 💓 by @somnia.sound

OBEN (A-Z) @no.salt.tv @sophiise Sandro b2b zipperclit (@laserleo89 @emmamitae) Happy to see 4 bass music lovers taking over the top floor this weekend! Been mad impressed by their sets during the festival summer last year - I always perceived all of their sets as thoughtfully curated with heart, while maintaining a cheerful, engaging energy that I could loose myself in on a regular basis. It‘s also very special for me to see Marseille based producer and DJ @no.salt.tv close this floor. The @tetevide.tv co-founder has become a close friend of mine and I am absolutely astonished by his passion and knowledge of electronic music. His projects are deeply driven bis his "music-first"-vision, for example by hosting events with heart and soul in the otherwise very commercial event landscape of Paris. Proud to have you here! Be prepared for breaky, UK influenced sets and tracks you didn't see coming! Pre-sale tickets are sold out! However there are lots of tickets available at the door 🫂 by @somnia.sound

LEVEL NULL (A-Z) @atzenernst @carluschka_ @butschi111 @mza.mp3 @talia__dorr 10 days left till the first somnia event is taking place at @axxonn.club. I remember @carluschka_ telling me she has got this huge music archive of her dad - with lots of old gems and long forgotten tunes. I could tell from the start you have to dig deep to do what she does. Hearing this with @mza.mp3 coming after, playing for the first time in Leipzig - always staying true to herself, inspiring and enriching the scene with her unique blend of techno and trance music but most importantly, radiating authenticity and humbleness since years of touring around. For @talia__dorr I don’t know where she finds those tracks that I seem to be searching for desperately on a daily basis. I am beyond excited to close this night with her, first time playing together and we’ll give our best to create some memories for you to take home. Speaking of moving out of your comfort zone - I am also very excited what my good friend @atzenernst will start the opening of this night. It’s not a slot where he usually feels home - but I am sure it’s gonna be smooth as hell, combined with a great amount of out-of-the-box-thinking, similar to his upcoming music projects and I am hoping you won’t miss out on this 💕 Butschi *early bird tickets are sold out - but there are still tickets left online and at the door (link in bio)* taken in Leipzig by @somnia.sound

Happy to announce the kick off of my event series »Somnia« Being involved in nightlife on a regular basis since a while now has led to a lot of impressions, very positive but also some negative ones, which have both formed my very own vision of what would be a great event in my eyes. As a touring artist for a while now, I thought it is time to give spotlight to the incredible artists I met along the way and find deeply inspiring. While musically the main focus will be on trance music, the goal is to deliver a party that feels deeper than the usual “banger-after-banger” approach and is getting complemented by lots of other genres. I will give my best to create party nights that feel explorative and safe, hoping to meet you there. First event will be announced soon! Logo @simonockas Picture @nicho.santini by @somnia.sound
