There’s this tricky balance of navigating energy management with awareness, activism, and speaking out. This week has been particularly challenging. It has given me an opportunity to revisit feelings I had emerging from the LDS church and to use all my tools to come back in tune with myself again. That feeling that women’s voices don’t matter, that abuse is no big deal, that men call the shots and say how it is and where you should put your energy… using God as a manipulation tool. Seeing all the harm, abuse and lack of integrity… you are shut down and labeled a traitor if you point it out. I look back and I’m so proud of the way I honored my body, heart, and soul during those years. Because nothing is heavier than paradox of reclaiming your resonance during the storm of injustice. But there is a morning after… we will rise, clean this mess, and rebuild. by @songalchemist

My life flowwwws continually, I seriously don’t have time to post about all the synchronicities that happen daily, weekly, monthly on this full radical surrender journey of mine. BUT last week to end up here and find my LB Vortex Tribe felt like such an unexpected uplevel! Without knowing, I bought a gown for $35 on my drive from AZ to CO thinking I’d never have a place to wear it - but it matched my unreleased song title. learned about the conference a couple days later, grated a ticker and bam it started a whole path of support I’ve been calling in for my online offerings. And now a picture of me from the event and is the album art of my next song release that I started AT Living Brave in the audience, one that’s been waiting a WHILE! Yes, I still write songs daily to alchemize my life. Yes, I spend a couple hours or maybe a half day crafting the lyrics and melody just right. Yes, I play instruments and sing and yes, sometimes I’m in a sweet recording studio laying down tracks paying hundreds of dollars. The process of producing a song has changed a lot over the years, but my relationship with writing them and alchemizing life through them hasn’t. And yes, sometimes I just produce a dance track from a newly written song on the apps because I cannot wait to dance in the energy of it right away!
Because of the abundance of songs I receive I cannot keep up with the time and money it takes to bring them all to life so the truth is I do enjoy the process of being able to give them life quickly and for me, I never let it create the words or melodies for me. I know many people are using AI to enhance their workflow and most of us are using it somewhere, this is how it helps mine and for now I dance with it. However, if we decided to build no more AI centers I would happily choose the tools go away if it means our planet can thrive. Is it a paradox? I think it all is, yes. I write songs for the humanity to live and thrive in joy - choosing to create songs in all the ways to get the message out there using these platforms owned by billionaires (including the one you’re on right now) for good. #paradox #aicontroversy #songwriting #songtherapy by @songalchemist

Ahhh every time Jaden and I get together it’s just pure magic! Tonight will be sharing our songs, some with community singing, in this little gazebo in Cottonwood park. Will have moments where we just allow the music to flow and bring a mat & cushions because at the end we close with a 45 minute intuitively created sound journey with angelic vocals, gong, cello, handpan, crystal bowls, flute and all kinds of deliciousness to make sure your heart, soul, and nervous system leaves different than it came. Though Jaden will be going home soon - I see one in AZ with them in the future and there will be more with different musicians - DM me where you are and an email if you’d like to be a part of it! tickets / website in comments by @songalchemist

I’ve been quiet and enjoying the present moments… it felt like I was called to make relationship with each piece of soil I set foot in last year… I wrote so many songs with the lands and every place brought so much growth and spiritual experiences. I felt called to each place I set foot and don’t regret a single trust move. Creating life solo after 32 years of marriage and leaving the Mormon church is not a walk in the park, but I’m not settling into the ruins of what was, I want to know what’s possible. ❤️ I long to make impact (and music) in community and finding the right community is paramount for me. #fiftyandfree #secondactlife #nomad #solotravel by @songalchemist
