Crescent City Update (ft.Otter) 🦦🌙🌇🍷🪽[spoilers ahead 🚨]

What an awesome September read. Went into this for acotar 6 and found it mesmerizing with so many twists, turns, and terrific moments. I was smiling, laughing, sobbing, and cheering. No other words than… Here’s my unfiltered thoughts while reading HOEAB. Follow along with me as I read it for the first time. Enjoy!! 🫶🏻

💬 Did we share a similar reading experience? What was your exact reaction to chapter 5, the vacuum clean up, or that particularly eye opening Rhysand theory?

Save this to compare your thoughts with mine in real time while reading HOEAB 💫

Influence or deinfluence my fall tbr 🧚⚔️🍂🕯️🌙

My fantasy tbr is literally overflowing this season and especially with the new releases lined up, I need your advice, book besties!

These books have caught my attention this fall. And yes, we are heavy on the fantasy here. Might upload other genres like lit-fic or dark academia later, we’ll see!

If you’ve read any of these popular titles, let me know: which should I read or pass?

Btw, started reading House of Earth and Blood and am utterly obsessed. We are en route and locked in for the oct 27 acotar 6 release 🌙

💬 Drop your thoughts! Which books are must-reads and which are safe to pass?

We are officially heading back to Barry’s Bay next summer! 🌊☀️🛶🍦🐚

@carleyfortune just announced that her next book, Only in Summer, is coming out on May 18, 2027 and I’m so excited!! ✨ To celebrate, here are the summer books I’ve enjoyed from her that take place in Barry’s Bay. Her stories always capture the magic of the season and I absolutely adore the cinematic lake house vibes.

P.S. I couldn’t resist sneaking in one that takes place in Prince Edward Island as well. See if you can spot it. 🤭

Fall is just around the corner, but let this be your reminder to fully enjoy late summer!

The Shampoo Effect 🌊🏖️🦞🐚

This was such a breezy, frothy summer read! It makes you want to pack your bags, go to an idyllic coastal town and eat a lobster roll while overlooking the beach. Less explosive drama or juicy gossip than expected, but the opening was so unexpected and memorable. 🍩 (You’ll know we are missing a jelly donut emoji here if you’ve also picked up this one!)

ARC Rating : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Thank you so much for sending me my first ever ARC

Hunger Games x Ancient Greece?! 🤍 This romantasy had such a perfect blend of fantasy, action, Greek mythology, romance, and a fierce heroine who is willing to defy all odds to save her nation! The writing was so beautiful and compelling and Lia is such a strong character. Her determination was so incredibly captivating! 🥹 I loved her tension and dynamic with our MMC Jason as they step into dangerous territory of becoming enemies to lovers 🙂‍↔️ I also loved the elements of found family shown by the fierce loyalty shared between the sisterhood. And that cliffhanger ending 😭 Shook and I cannot wait to read BOOK 2!

If you like a fast-paced, Greek mythology inspired fantasy with thrilling action scenes and some spicy romance, I highly recommend reading this! 🫶🏻

Out on November 1st! 🔥

Happy Wednesday loves! 🎀🤍🌸🧸

How’s everyone’s week going?
Here’s a pink stack that turned into a Happy Place quote post as well. Wyn and Harriet are such cuties and I adore them so much! I literally had so much fun making this quote page!! 🥹 It’s been a while since I read it for the first time and I really want to read it again! Btw, I am SO EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE that I got my VERY FIRST ARC recently so I am wildly excited about that so we’ll see how it goes! May take a while since it’s +500 pages, but the premise has me hooked! It’s a romantasy you guys 😭💌

QOTD : 🌸 Quote 1, 2, 3 🌸 which do we like best?

September reading update! 🌟🍁🕯️🎀🤍☁️

Happy Sunday! Heres’s what I’m reading lately and wow I think I’m really starting to -fall- for magical realism in books 🤭 This is my first time reading one of Ashley Poston’s books and I’m really starting to like her writing! The cover is gorgeous and the characters are so compelling. But, I’m like halfway through and getting mixed ideas about whether it’s a happy ending or a sad one 😭 Anyone else had the same experience? Btw, so ready for fall! My Pinterest board has like so many cute bubble braids, ribbons and red leather jacket fits going on and like, iykyk 🤍

August Wrap Up 👼🏼☕️🌟🌸🍒
Wow, this month brought me so many fantastic reads! Absolutely adored Funny Story by Emily Henry, highly entertaining and amusing! Should I post a book review, y’all?! Been really busy, so read less than usual, but so happy that I got to enjoy these stellar stories! Word of advice : You don’t need to compare how many books you’ve read with others 🤍 If you have a reading goal, that’s truly awesome. (do have one atm, pls remind me to get back to it 🤣) And if you’re finishing a couple, that’s also truly awesome. All that matters if it brings you joy! ⭐️

Feel free to share your opinions or any reading goals for September! 💫

Rating : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

One of my fave reads of the year so far 🏹 Like I was literally obsessed and could not put it down!! Our main characters, Gideon and Rune, a witch and witch hunter btw, start off as enemies who can’t stand each other, but gradually form a genuine connection and attraction towards each other. They share some really cute (and tense!) moments and lemme tell you, they had me smiling, giggling, and holding my breath at every turn!! And the slow burn was so on point. There’s also a love triangle going on in the midst of it all and plenty of plot twists. I was so immersed in the story and the regency setting of ballrooms and gowns made it especially enchanting. 🕯️💫 But that ending tho! 🫠 With that said, I am so excited for book 2 to come out!!
