MOD ONE - The 4RS Shifter! 🟡🔧
---
Most of you who follow me closely on stories know how much i hate the OEM shifter. It doesn't belong in a sports car and is very SUV esque so it had to be the first thing I changed! This lovely 4RS shifter from Porsche was actually from my GT4 and was expertly retrimmed by @lawrence_lgt in new matching RaceTex and racing yellow stitching to match the interior. 🤝
---
Different style of post than usual but i want to start posting a lot more of the nitty gritty along the journey that I don't often share, mainly for my own documentation but also so you can see what little details go into a build to make it special. I'm more of a Story guy these days because i feel I've made posts heavier in my head than they need to be, but I'm going to reverse that now for more frequent but less polished content! I still haven't decided on a Project name for this car either! Any suggestions? 🤔

Where do I even start with this one? 😱 Definitely a pinch-me moment! The GT4 setback was tough for those who know me but one step back, two steps forward and now one of my dream cars is a reality! 😵

I will always argue the 718 was a more aggressive looking car and a better all round package by some measures however one thing which this has in abundance that the GT4 could never touch, is Aura ✨ There is little in terms of sports car that will match the presence on the road car for car of a 911, never mind a Miami one! 🩵

Those with a keen eye may also be able to figure out who the famous original owner of this car actually was 👀 A massive thank you to @rpmtechnik for going above and beyond with the purchase! A true credit to the Porsche community! 🙏

Super excited to begin this project with a ton of mods already lined up and on order 📦⚙️ Also, btw, best shape, fight me 🙃 x taken in RPM Technik by @sonicgtx

When your car comes fresh out the garage with some new mods, it always feels like that scene from Tokyo Drift when Bow Wow's Hulk car comes down the lift 😮‍💨👌 #apexwheels taken in String Theory Garage by @sonicgtx

Unpopular opinion, i quite enjoyed the GOT ending! Not sure why it got so much backlash! House of dragon was also very good! Looking forward to A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms ⚔️ by @sonicgtx

Here's the first official look at the new road setup on the GT4 project / 20" Apex ML10-RT 😍😮‍💨 #apexwheels

Ever since i got the car i knew i wanted to do a classic motorsport wheel one day and I couldn't be happier with the result! People will ask, why not HREs, Vossen, BBS and so on, and whilst they were all considered, Apex came out on top! I'll do a deep dive into this on another post or on my story! 🙃 Enjoy the set x

Massive thank you to:
