two years ago I made a promise that changed my life…

I walked down an aisle, in a cabin I’d never been to, in front of a crowd of people I didn’t know, and I promised God that I would live for Him.

Now, 730 days later, I’m still walking in that promise. It’s my longest streak ever lol, and not because I’ve been perfect - I’ve been far from it - but because I serve a God that loves me more consistently than I ever could. I serve a God that chooses me even when I don’t choose Him. I serve a God that died for me, knowing that I would ignore His calls for my heart for the first 19 years of my life.

But now Jesus has my heart, all of it, and He’s promised me that He’s never letting go.

“I’ve never quit loving you and never will. Expect love, love, and more love!“
Jeremiah 31:3 MSG

Thank you Jesus.

Emotional Idolatry

letting your feelings dictate your actions may feel right but it isn’t biblical! allow the word of God to be your ultimate guide, it’s the wisest book out there 🤍

weeping with the Father

being a child of God doesn’t mean you have to hide your feelings. God wants to be with you even in the midst of your hurt, so bring it to Him 🤍
