Last year, Paris was a conversation between the city and me. I wandered its streets alone, finding pieces of myself in cafés, museums, and quiet corners.

This year, I returned with Stephen.

Seeing Paris through the eyes of a musician is a different kind of magic. Every street performer became a conversation. Every melody found its way into the day. And together, we found ourselves stopping for the street art too….murals, hidden corners, and walls that seemed to have their own stories to tell. It’s amazing how music and art can make a city feel even more alive.

Same streets. Different heart. Last year I discovered Paris. This year, I got to discover it with someone who hears beauty everywhere. by @sonicplayground

Everywhere Stephen goes, music seems to find him.

Today, it found him in a small corner of Paris, playing with a street musician named Pitch Mi beneath the bust of Dalida. There was no stage, no audience to impress….just two musicians sharing a language that needs no translation.

I’ve always known how gifted Stephen is. But what moves me most isn’t his talent. It’s the way he listens first, honors the moment, and meets people through music with so much generosity and joy.

I’ll share more of our time in Paris soon, but this moment deserved a post of its own. by @sonicplayground
