Status/Non-Status have been dear friends, supporters, and collaborators of PRFM since Day 1. Sturg’s shop @rezonanceprinting has printed every single piece of PRFM merch for that whole time, and the whole @statusnonstatus crew is woven into the history of PRFM in so many ways.

So seeing Dundas St absolutely packed for their set and watching the crowd love the band and all the collaborative moments they shared onstage was really wild ‼️Adam, Eric, Shawn, Matt, Derek, and guest singers Lola & Robin blew us away with a fever dream set that was heavy, psych, and tender and HYPE all at once. A true display of friendship and community on stage!

Thanks for being part of our event for so many years 💗

HAPPY THOUGHT SCHOOL is holding its place as number 1 again. Blessed for all the spins from all the college and satellite radio programs. Thank you so much! Glad this album keeps surprising me and my team of amazing people @julieboothstagram_ @sonicunyonmgmt @waynepetti , miigwech to everyone who had a chance to sing, play and inspire this album. Bless the creator for that radio pen that inspired a lot of the ideas on this album.

Top of the @earshotdigitaldistro national TOP 50 chart again! It’s great that people are out there giving it a spin and that it keeps popping back up to number 1 and floating around that area. Lots of gratitude went into making this album, the title track “happy thought school” has a spoken word section where my mom shares her story about not being let off the bus when her school arrived there. Fast forward 30 years later and im at that same school dealing with the same issues. Together my mom and I went back there this summer and drove around the school and I showed her the tree line that I would climb up to get the signal for @1031freshradio hosted by @aceburpee (at the time) with my radio pen and listened to all the pop music of the day, I sometimes would get the rock station and hear @brokensocialscene (you forgot ) just had come out and nirvanas (you know you’re right) was coming out around that time too. To me it was music from the moon, seemed like from a different planet than living on the Rez.

Wow I made it onto another billboard in Toronto today! Miigwech @amazonmusiccan for allowing me to make a very unique indigenous playlist. You won’t find the normal names of artist on there, you’ll actually hear native voices that had been banned off the radio in the past and new amazing voices. I was very proud of doing this project because I really wanted to shine a light on almost a whole list of artists people haven’t heard yet before. Miigwech to my amazing publicist @julieboothstagram_ for always working so hard 🙏🏾❤️❤️❤️ and to my manager @waynepetti . I still can’t believe they let me use that photo! It’s incredible. I feel like Joni Mitchell today, haha jk. But not really. PLEASE GO CHECK THIS PLAYLIST OUT, YOULL LEARN SO MUCH NEW INDIGENOUS MUSIC THAT SHOWS OUR STRENGTH, you can find it in my bio!!!!
