'Deathbed Requests', by Memory Drawings (@memorydrawingsband) - released this summer on the Sound In Silence label...

The bands fifth album delivers "eight dense, dulcimer-driven, post-rock tracks" and offers up an even more dynamic range that its predecessor 'A Few Scattered Hours'.

Included in the deluxe edition is an extra CD of remixes by Birds of Passage, Hessien, Maps and Diagrams, Yellow6, Stafrænn Hákon / OPandolfo, Cloudwarmer, Test Card, and Epic45. I was lucky enough to nab a copy.

The band also recently released a cover of Joy Division's last song "In A Lonely Place", along with 2 remixes. This is a song that brothers Joel and Brad Hanson have been talking about doing for years and finally put it together, with the help of vocalist Alicia Merz (Birds of Passage).
