Chaos shows up unannounced,
loud as a room that’s lost its bounds.
And there we are,
Not at the start, not at the end,
But somewhere in the middle is where we blend.

A hand slows down before it goes.
Care is the quiet that we chose.
The world keeps spinning,
Through highs and through lows.
Yet here in its turning,
A truer self glows.

This act was indeed a declaration of love for friendship. It’s a personal story, but it resonates with many of us who overcome tough times thanks to the care our friends show us.

Though this is a long thank-you for a short performance, it feels necessary:

To my aerial hoop partner and my dear friend @sonjavn_ ; thank you for your time, your creativity, your energy, and most of all for your presence in my life. Creating with you is a privilege, and I’m so grateful 🫰🏻

My beautiful @dorisenhetgeluid , thank you for listening, for trying, and doing what you do best by bringing your magic into music for our act🪄

@applewangpoledance @pole.inspiration.dance.studio your guidance, critical eye, and the gift of space to explore and create have been invaluable🤍

To everyone who came to watch 🙌🏻 thank you for showing up, for feeling with us, and for letting us reach you, even just a little

To the incredible lighting technicians, thank you for bringing our vision to life (even better than we imagined)

To @kymancheng for making great photos year after year.

And finally to ChatGPT for helping me communicate my thoughts in an accessible, understandable way 🌝 taken in Theater Ludens by @sonja.aerialstudio

The dilemma of choosing the flexible strong shoulder, or the better split.. it became the shoulder, so the splits are not there 😁

We did a summer special, classes with a theme. I wanted to do an aerial “dance” class. First part of the choreo to this song with which we will continue next week 🥰

Highlight from my class last Saturday. I love the splits I saw at @aerial_brooke 🤗
My bare skin wasn’t so happy with this combo tho 🙃

Challenge time! What is this? A controlled half snake roll? I came up with it while trying the beginning pose and I really like it 😇
Let me know how it goes!
