We wrote and recorded our first song (Keep Calm) together in 2012. At the time, there was this "Keep Calm and..." meme that was trending and it gave us the idea for the song.

After 2012, we had a 7 year hiatus
Then EKO was born in 2019 and presently, we are a 7 year old Sister Duo reppin the Caribbean.

14 years later we're still writing, still singing and still drawing inspiration from our environment and our loved ones.

While the numbers are important for analytics and data, sometimes the real measure of success is in consistency. It's in persevering. It's in building something from the ground up. It's in actualising a dream and a vision that only you and God could see, from words only God could have spoken.

"And the words of the Lord are flawless,
like silver purifies in a crucible,
like gold refined 7 times." (Ps 12)

We have released more than 7 songs, but the 4:5 ratio is very much aligned with us (not mad at that) so only our top 7 are highlighted in this post right now.

It may not look like much to some, but to us, this is growth.
This is good.
This is 7.

WW3: The Story Behind the Music Video

This beautiful song turned THREE on Sept 29th,2026... and it got me thinking...

Unfortunately, love is not enough. I had to learn that lesson the hard way

Work needs to be done. Action needs to be taken. Self must be evaluated. Because when the chemistry fizzles out and we humanly light each other on fire just to feel ... something .. we're left staring into mirrors of ourselves. Left to face our ugliest truths or run from them.

And this could mean the difference between the birth of something new and/or the death of what we once knew. Nevertheless, Intentionality is the only key fit to unlock each level of relationship..

..and I sat in pride for far too long thinking I was justified in "being hurt" when, maybe, I should have been seeking understanding

Blessings & Love everybody, some of y'all know me some of y'all don't but we here & we doing this.. for real! #ɪʏᴋʏᴋ

Welcome to The Story Behind The Song - WW3

You know when you've told a story a million times and then it really starts to dawn on you that you've told this story a million times so you try shutting up but then realise there's a reason you've told this story a million times so for old times sake you just go ahead and tell it again for the million and 1st time.. because who going and tell me to hush on my own page? Exactly.

This is that 😭 This is also an exercise in exposure therapy. Confronting my fear of visibility. It just is what it is.. we are interconnected as a people and that means sharing stories and experiences that say "I see you too" and there is NO SHAME in it. Especially when music is involved.

So let's see each other.. a million and one stories at a time
