These two are usually happiest in baggy everything, perfectly content in their grungy-teenager era—and honestly, I love that for them. ❤️
But getting to help them get ready for Homecoming, seeing them all dressed up and feeling beautiful, was pretty special. Then, just as we finished, a rainbow appeared, so we grabbed our phones and ran to the park for the most completely impromptu photo shoot… and somehow, the pictures turned out nothing short of remarkable. 🌈✨

✨ Santa Fe magic hits different. ✨ Spent the most incredible weekend recharging my batteries in New Mexico. Leaving from Denver for a 1,400-mile solo trip had me scared, but I am so glad I pulled the trigger anyway. 🏔️✨Overcoming the Fear I left Denver on Friday and made it back by Sunday. Driving that distance alone was intimidating, but the reward was unmatched. Into the Wild! I met up with McKennaugh to backpack deep into grizzly bear territory in Big Sky, Montana. It has been a many months since our Grand Canyon adventure, and this weekend was another unforgettable reminder to keep exploring. I am incredibly grateful she reached out and invited me along. A little early July birthday celebration was definitely in order. Emilie, you’re next. 🎉 headed to Buena Vista with my almost 21-year-old son, Weston. While he was getting a tattoo, I found a spot on the Arkansas river- soaked up the sunshine, got lost in a good book and took a refreshing plunge into the 50° water. It was exactly what I needed. Then in true last-minute fashion, I ended up getting a tattoo too. The best surprise of the day was getting to see Toivo and Marissa and spend time with the Ivy League crew. Good people, great conversations, and one of those days that reminds you the best memories are often the ones you never planned. Driving home, the wildfires outside of Leadville were absolutely unbelievable. My heart goes out to everyone affected and to the firefighters, putting themselves on the line to protect our communities. Please keep Colorado in your prayers. A few months ago, this was just dirt and a dream. 🌱 Now everything is coming to life, and the first big reward has arrived: fresh raspberries. 🍓

Summer sunsets just hit different—one minute you’re taking a casual walk, the next you’re starring in a nature documentary with a front-row seat to the grand finale. 🌞
