My sweet Mama is with Jesus. This came as a surprise to us, but Jesus wasn’t surprised and He stood at the gates and welcomed her from death into life eternal. How can you reconcile the unexpected passing of someone who has been here for 88 years and see through to a world without her? I felt a handing off as she breathed her last earthly breaths. I sincerely knew that she wanted me and our family to continue on for her in the way she had walked. This is the way, walk ye in it! My sweet sisters and brother and my daughters and my grandchildren and nieces and nephews, we witnessed the torch being willed to us. Her eyelashes conveyed love with that sweet tear as she glanced across the room. Her life was a part of each of us and we felt the weight of a life well lived given over with open hands as she slipped away and joined the throng of witnesses. Our Mother was alive again and situated in her heavenly home. The strength of her youth restored and the joy of her salvation was made full. We know in part, but she knows what we can only imagine. She has forged a new path.. one that teaches us how to gracefully leave our earthly life and enter glory. She stands behind the veil and sees with clearness that Jesus is who He says He is! May the Lord grant us a life that teaches and leads with sweet tenderness into the great promise of a heavenly home. Thank you Lord for the sweet life of my Mama. The one who rocked me in a squeaky chair.. and sang to me and stroked my hair. I love you mom 💖 by @sonjasadie

I call this my 1940’s garden! My dad used to talk about a sunken garden that belonged to his grandmother, and how the children would play and the adults would stroll through the garden and talk about what she was growing there. Sounds like something i enjoy when i go to the home of a green thumb! Can you picture it?? ✨✨✨#originalart #statementart #artist by @sonjasadie
