![Honest thoughts about [solidcore] 💭
The workout is hard but in a rewarding way! I am still sore but that’s how I know it was a good workout.
I liked that the instructor demonstrated each move on the machine, then came around to help with proper form. And I loved that the instructor went around the room because even with plenty of heads up about what was coming next, I sometimes needed a reminder about placement or springs. The transitions felt a little quick as a beginner, but the movements themselves were slow and controlled. The burn was so good.
I’m new to reformer so I noticed there isn’t really a way to make an “easier” modification, only more challenging modifications. As in, the baseline is hard then there’s amplified 😅 I think that’s why the instructor would encourage taking breaks if needed. And in my mind, a break feels like I can’t keep up, but the workout itself is challenging enough for your body to require a break. I really enjoyed the workout. I left feeling so satisfied like every muscle had put in WORK.
The studio was awesome! I honestly liked the no filming policy. I think that really creates an environment where everyone feels comfortable. The dim lighting was nice too and the playlist was fire. I’d definitely go back! And I would absolutely recommend this!
