┊͙‧₊˚ ✧ introduction post ۶ৎ𓈒 ᩙ◜ ᵕ ◝ྀི𑁨 יִ hii, my name is evan and i’m a collector from ontario, canada ♡ i pulled my first sonny angel (cb night cat) in september 2023 and started seriously collecting in november/december of that year ૮ › ༝ ‹ ྀིა (thank u taiwan for kickstarting my addiction before i even knew it) i started with the ww & 2023 ornament series and now i’m here with 60+ angels from several different series, my first complete and favorite collection being cat life ૮꒰ྀི∩´ ᵕ `∩꒱ྀིა collecting and being a part of this community has brought me so much more joy than i could’ve imagined, despite becoming my wallet’s biggest enemy ʚ₍ᐢ ›̥̥̥ ༝ ‹̥̥̥ ᐢ₎ɞ i literally found 90% of my d/isos and somehow i keep discovering new ones to add to the list... it’s never-ending. hopefully my love for these angels remains just as endless ପ( ˘͈ ᵕ ˘͈♡)ଓ i’ve met and made friends with wonderful people from this community, and i can’t wait to meet many more of you lovelies from this point on ⸜(｡˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝♡ thank you for reading & happy collecting ‎יִ ｡𐭣ིྀ ⸝⸝ . ⸝⸝ ⳿ིྀ𐭩 ₊˚⊹ template by @charcharsangelss ° ᡣ𐭩 . ° . by @sonnydevil.ca

hi friends! if you’re reading this, thank you for giving my fundraiser your time and attention. recently my baby boy, corn, was admitted to an emergency vet clinic due to a potential urinary obstruction. he started having pee accidents outside of his litter box on wednesday, may 20 and wasn’t behaving like his usual self (excessive grooming of his urethra, refusing to eat when he normally looks forward to kibble time every night, leaving puddles of urine in random spots around the house, squatting uncomfortably). we finally took him to the emergency clinic around midnight on friday, may 22 — exactly 24 hours after i had just come home from the ER myself, having left with prescriptions for pain meds for a diagnosis of three rib fractures. upon running a urinalysis and an x-ray screening, it turns out corn now has flutd (feline lower urinary tract disease) and it appears to have been stress-induced… the vet informed us that this is something he will have for the rest of his life and the risk of an incident like this ever occurring again will always be there should he become as stressed as he was prior to this event. corn has always been an anxious kitty; the only recent stressor i can think of is i’ve been very ill the past five weeks (and counting), having caught a viral infection from working with toddlers as an ECE placement student. i know cats are attuned to their owners’ well-being and i can only assume with how tormented he saw i’d been recently, it must’ve affected him more deeply than i would have thought. we finally received news that he was cleared to come home on the evening of sunday, may 24 and were overjoyed as we’d missed his lively presence around the house. he’s in recovery now (just like his parent), and my hope for this fundraiser is to make back $3,500 out of the $3,532.13 paid to cover the costs of his diagnostics, hospitalization, and treatment/medication. i appreciate any kind of help you’re able to give, whether it’s reaching out to offer kind words, sharing this fundraiser to reach more people, or donating an amount you are comfortable giving. from corn and myself, thank you for your time and attention—it means a lot to us! ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ♡ by @sonnydevil.ca
