Today I woke up on tour in Las Vegas, 1 month sober. This time last month I woke up, after having what I can only describe as a minor breakdown/psychotic episode and I knew something had to change. I was insanely emotional, and had become so used to being anxious and quite unhappy that I had low-key started to just think it was the norm.

Over the past 28 days, a hell of a lot has happened. I’ve experienced some real highs, and some real lows, and while I know in the long-run this is for the best, it’s definitely not been easy. I’ve had moments of self-hatred, reflecting on things that had happened while I had been under the influence of alcohol and substances, but also some real moments of self-pride at making lots of positive changes that I know will have positive effects on my future going forward.

I’m already feeling a hell of a lot less anxious, I’ve dropped a fair bit of weight (mainly due to starting to lose the beer belly) and have been training regularly which is something I haven’t done in years. However, I also know there’s a very long road ahead and the thought of being sober is still as equally terrifying as it is exciting, especially given the nature of my career. But I know with time it’ll become the norm and I’ll be a much better and happier person for it.

This isn’t me preaching as I’m far from fucking perfect, and ive partied enough to last ten life times. This also isn’t passing judgement in any way towards decisions anybody else chooses to make, but all I know is that for me it had to stop and change had to happen.

For a long time I think I had been neglecting my soul but with each day that passes, I feel as though I’m slowly starting to re-build and protect it. This is the first month of what I hope is many more, but I intend to keep travelling the world, doing what I love and having as much fucking fun as possible while doing it ❤️‍🔥

These last two months have been nothing short of magical ✨🙏🏻

8 countries, 24 flights, some bucket-list festivals, amazing club shows, getting to hang out with friends & heroes (old & new) & being able to do it all with some of the most important people in my life! ❤️‍🔥
