OC-tober Day 6: Enemies

wow okay so these are my sons reese hayes (on the ground) and josh wayne (in the cowboy hat) and josh HATES reese. reese is super naturally cool and that bugs josh...but reese thinks josh is like, way cooler than he is. nuance. i love them. my sons.

OC-tober Day 5: Prized Possession

i'm cheating again tbh my piece for day 4 just didn't turn out how i wanted and i got lazy. plus i loved this one. YAY!

this is a more formal introduction to Sonya, and her truck Jan! Jan is a junker, straight up. i want you to imagine the worst beater car you can and then multiply it by 100. she hardly runs, is always in need of maintenance, and barely gets Sonya from school to the ranch and back again. She loves her truck dearly though!

OC-tober Day 3: First Meeting

im skipping day 2 because it wasn't speaking to me 💔 but i'm posting day 3 early to keep myself on track YAY

Sonya (on the pinto) and Justine (on the grey) are two more main characters. They're Tyra's closest friends, and keeping in line with some lore from past storylines, they met at a barn called the Phoenix Riding Academy way back when.

Oc-tober is here and i'm committing to my first ever art prompt event?!

Day 1: Sibling Bond - Tyra and her kid sister Josie , (whom I stole from @tyra.wolfwell ) I ended up going w/ something simple cause I wasn't sure what route I'd be taking through the event but I'll go ahead and assume it's gonna be a mix between sketches and more "finished" pieces. YAY!!

i'm excited for this and hoping i dont burn out quickly, but i was particularly fond of the idea of lore scenes and a semi-soft-launching of mine and the aforementioned Tyra's "tyra the teenage cowgirl" universe! last christmas i made a silly mock comic book cover for her as a gift and now we have a whole plethora of characters and a world i genuinely have been ANXIOUSLY waiting to share. so i am excited to spend a month introducing them!!
