Real talk, I’ve noticed my follower numbers have gone up, significantly! What I haven’t noticed is more people commenting or even liking my posts. And I want to change that! I’m not into engagement-farming but I love to talk. So I’m pinning this post as a welcome to newbs, come and say hi! I will bite, just not very hard. I might even follow you back, after a nibble or two.

If you’re one of those follow/unfollowers you can unfollow me right now, I’m not gonna follow you, ever. Fake the funk and get funked up! If you desperately want 10k followers, just buy them like so many DJs do these days. To everyone else: Hey! Hi! How ya doin’? by @sonof8bits

Son of 8-bits behind our desk this time. Machine pulses, faded chips, melodies that sound like they’ve been buried and dug back up. Somewhere between the last of summer and the first cold mornings.

M-Vave FM-1, a €69,- DX7 clone

Fully compatible with all classic SYSEX patches, so let your inner Mr. Mister out and FM bell your way to Toto’s Africa. USB powered with a battery, MIDI over USB, (TRS) DIN and Bluetooth. And it even supports velocity properly! Making this a great replacement for the Volca FM. And, it has efffects that don’t sound half bad. For this money it’s a no brainer!

Doing paperwork to keep the studio restrained. A spreadsheet is a great way to keep track of MIDI configuration and signal flow, though. Using LibreOffice of course! by @sonof8bits
