💐Thank you to every woman who joined our inaugural Women’s Investment Circle and helped make this year’s Annual Women’s Luncheon one to remember.

Together, the Circle raised an incredible $70,000 and chose to invest those funds in summer camp experiences for our mentees.

That collective investment was met with an extraordinary $60,000 matching gift from Corine Koornhof and JeffreyScott, fully funding summer camp for the year ahead and creating opportunities for even more of our boys to attend for the very first time.

We’re deeply grateful to our luncheon sponsor, @jones_walkerllp and to our event partners @linkstryjewskifoundation @cajuncaviar @hamptonwater @thefloralundergroundnola for helping us create such a beautiful afternoon.

In New Orleans, community is built around the table.

For more than a decade, Chefs Donald Link @chef_link and Stephen Stryjewski @cracklinfat have stood alongside Son of a Saint, showing what it means to invest in the people and possibilities that make our city special. Through the @linkstryjewskifoundation ,their partnership has grown with us, centered in the belief that strong communities are built by showing up for one another.

That spirit was on full display at Friday’s Women’s Luncheon. A huge thank you to Donald, Stephen, and the entire Link Restaurant Group team for generously donating an incredible menu for our guests and continuing to be such meaningful partners in our work.

Mentorship is the cornerstone of our mission, but some of the strongest connections begin in the simplest ways.

Over the years, we’ve learned that cooking a meal together has become one of the best ways for mentors and mentees to connect and find their match. Mentorship is rarely built in a single moment. It grows through time spent together, trust, laughter and simply showing up.
