Beach days call for a slightly different kind of carry.

A few pocket essentials, something cold, a deck of questions, and absolutely no reason to be in a hurry. Sand, sun, good company, and gear that still finds its way into the frame.

Sometimes the lighting is just too good at the local coffee shop. This is one of those times when “the best camera is the one you have on you” rings especially true and you just gotta snap a photo with the phone. by @sonofwolf_edc

A little closer look at today’s carry.

Sometimes the details are the whole point. The machining, textures, finishes, and little signs of use are what make these pieces so good in hand.

I’m never really sure what belongs in a Story and what deserves a full post.

This was just a quick shot while I was installing a hitch on the Bronco. The orange Turtlebox Ranger was handling the soundtrack, the Olight was already nearby since it lives in the truck, and the RMX got the call because it’s basically my sacrificial lamb when I know I’m about to be doing dirtier work.

Nothing fancy, just one of those everyday moments that ended up making a photo I really liked.

Do you guys like seeing shots like this as full posts, or do the more casual, in-the-middle-of-doing-something photos belong in Stories? by @sonofwolf_edc

Since TACC, the Hawk Talon has been finding its way into my pocket a lot.

My knife collection has actually gotten smaller over time, but I’m much happier with where it’s headed. Fewer pieces, better quality, and more focus on American-made gear that I genuinely enjoy carrying.

The Talon has fit that shift perfectly. Add the Santa Clara scales and it has quickly become one of the knives I keep reaching for. by @sonofwolf_edc

Two pens, two Roosevelts, and four completely different personalities. I always like seeing how much variety you can get from the same makers.

Warm or cool?

Same lineup, two completely different moods. I couldn’t decide which lighting I liked more, so you get both.

A lot of titanium, a little bronze coated aluminum, and some seriously good American machining in one shot.
