In the height of the pandemic @matthewscragg and I purchased 5 acres sight-unseen on a remote lake near the Colorado/ New Mexico border. This past week I was finally able to take initial development steps and put up our first lil fishing cabin 🎣⛰️ Excited to share with y’all and welcome any advice for off-grid development!

We bought the land cheap with very little information and only a couple blurry photos (none of which divulged the incredible lake views). However, we have spent years exploring the surrounding wilderness and trout water in New Mexico’s Enchanted Circle and the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. We believe both to be hidden gems of the Southwest☮️ taken in San Luis Valley, Colorado by @sonoran_son

When life hands you Oyster Mushrooms, you make a garlic cream base. 🤌🏼

Stumbled upon this glorious colony of Oysters during todays rafting trip on the Vermillion River in Illinois. Was able to identify on sight, but used the @picture.mushroom app to confirm. taken in Matthiessen State Park by @sonoran_son

The intricate beauty of the reef is a testament to what can be achieved when biodiversity is prioritized. We can’t let ourselves lose sight of this. A biodiverse planet is a healthy planet, and a healthy planet benefits us all.
