Going through your photographs made me realize we’ve mostly sat in front of each other during meals. I love how cartoonish you are every first bite of a dish in a new joint. You adore how animated I am whenever I speak fondly about my fixation of the week. But really, these snaps remind me of how much of a lucky bastard I am for having you as a companion. Living ain’t for the faint of heart. But with you across the table? Everything just becomes enjoyable. Pretty soon we’ll be dining on a table we can call our own, and I could only imagine the reactions and the conversations that will come with it. Happy Birthday, Boss. I love you… and to borrow from that dude Fyodor: “not only for a fleeting moment, but to the end.” by @sonrd

The July set, all via mobile.

The transition kept me from going full analog—but not from freezing, soaking up moments I know I’ll take with me. Deeply. by @sonrd

What a privilege it is to burn out.
What a privilege it is to see friends move on.
What a privilege it is to be counted out.
What a privilege it is to witness your life plans break at the seams.

It took me quite some time to understand it all. Life, turns out, was actually making space for the things that are about to come. That I’ve outgrown my old self, and staying the same will cost me more than changing will ever do.

To borrow a pair of mighty quotes from @_karlangelica:

“It all works out in the end.”

“Mas magaling pa ba tayo mag-design ng buhay kay Lord?”

What a privilege it is to live. To love. And to be able do both.

I know I already got 2026 in a chokehold. by @sonrd
