I love what we’re building out here @sonsofthunder.au

The world doesn’t need bigger muscles. It needs men who deny themselves and stay disciplined, even when it’s uncomfortable.

We use fitness as a means of building that discipline, and it’s accessible to all.

Hard work doesn’t discriminate.

And this man right here has proved that to me and so many others time and time again.

Had the opportunity to run our SOT session at @church.gc camp last weekend.

We saw a bunch of men committed to the cause showing up for each other and building bonds through faith and fitness.

As men we must show up for one another!

Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month.

It’s crucial for men to find a brotherhood of men who want to see them succeed as much as they want to see themselves succeed.

We also need men in our lives who aren’t just going to tell us what we want to hear, but what is necessary for our growth.

Make sure you check in on your brothers, but don’t let it be limited to this month. Build and forge strong friendships that grow into something you can lean on for the rest of your days.

As a man, you can either serve your own vision, or you can serve those around you.

Being a man of God isn’t about building the biggest bank account, collecting accolades, or proving you’re the most dominant force in the room.

It’s about taking responsibility.

Being present.
Serving others.
Lending your strength to those who need it.

It’s about bowing your knee in humility and putting the needs of others before your own.

Show up for the people around you.

Check in with your mates.

Your shoulders might be the ones they need to lean on.

I’m constantly blown away by what we’re seeing unfold at every session.

Men becoming vulnerable. Men seeing others push hard and give just as much effort as they do, creating a safe space to open up and be honest about where they’re at.

This is what happens when men come together with a shared purpose and a willingness to grow.

Philippians 1:6

“And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.”
