The sacrifices of our grandparents and parents created the foundations for the hopes and dreams we pursue today. I hope my journey honours their dedication in some way, but also inspires young people, the next generation, to believe in their potential and aim higher. If I can do it, so can you.Today was magical, more so because I got to witness my friends, some of the most intelligent, hardworking, yet humble people I know, the people I had worked as a team with alongside for hours on end, achieve with me. After fourteen years of supporting disadvantaged young people across the UK, and stepping back into academia, I was awarded a Masters degree in International Journalism at Distinction grade (1st) today. I still have a long way to go, and much to learn, nonetheless, this is an important milestone in a plan I’ll keep close to my heart, for now. ONE LOVE❤️❤️❤️ by @sonyakaypresents

A massive congratulations to the BBC NEW VOICES Winners, they all did a fantastic job ❤️A month ago I received a call from the BBC to say I had been selected as ONE of FOURTEEN FINALISTS, over 350 people applied 🤯🤯🤯The FINAL was amazing!
