Alzheimer’s can make the little moments tricky… but those moments are oddly the ones I really cling to and think back on daily.

These moments are the ones I crave most… I vividly remember sitting next to dad on the couch, teaching him how to text, and us dying out laughing! I wish I could text him back and forth one more time… I still have his voicemails from where he called to check up on me when I went somewhere, oh how I wish I had answered… but I’m also so happy I get to hear his voice now.

Cherish these moments, even in the midst of your frustration, cherish and hold tight to every last second.

3 things I’m taking into September!
Swipe 2 read more > :)

Consistency comes from discipline!!

So many of the habits I’ve ALWAYS wanted to build were held back by the same excuses: I “didn’t have time,” it “wasn’t the right time,” or I’d just start later.

But what I’ve learned is that we’re not always going to FEEL like doing the things we say we want to do. That’s where discipline comes in. You have to train yourself to show up even when you’re not motivated, even when it’s inconvenient, and even when you’re just not in the mood.

Start small. Build the habit. Keep showing up. That’s where consistency is created!!!!

Leave last month where it belongs.

Whether it’s a person, a habit, a mindset, or a situation that no longer serves you…leave it behind. And when it comes to people, LET THEM.

Let go of anything that no longer deserves a place on your September calendar :)

Every day COUNTS! Not just the weekend.

Stop only looking forward to Friday. Stop going through the motions all week just waiting for Saturday to come around.

Yes, some days might feel more ordinary than others, but they’re still days we were given… and that alone makes them worth something.

START making the random Tuesdays matter too.
START finding something to look forward to tomorrow instead of always waiting for the weekend that feels miles away.

if you’re thinking about moving after college… DO IT YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!!!

Make the decisions that scare you the most!
Push yourself outside of your comfort zone!

This life is temporary so make sure to live it to the fullest, dream big, CHASE your dreams, and do things you don’t think you can!
