It’s a Spec C World okay?!?
To know me is to know that I absolutely love Spelman College. From learning all about the rich history and legacy of this incredible institution to experiencing what campus life is like! Senior Day was literally everything I hoped it would be and more.

We toured the campus, attended mock lectures, learned about Spelman’s holistic admissions process, and had meaningful discussions on Black womanhood, literature, and love. I also had the opportunity to catch up with @prxncess_frii and @vip.l4urie11e_ !! I also enjoyed meeting so many amazing future Spelmanites from all across the country. 💕

Also on this trip I was with my dear friend @lastnett1625!! This experience only strengthened my admiration for Spelman College and everything and it represents.

@spelman_college @spelmanambassadors thank you so much for reminding me why you have had my heart for so long. 💙 #spelmancollege #spelman #futurespelmanite #explorepage #atl taken in Spelman College by @sophabun_

amir, played by @jordanaaronhall, was honestly my favorite character. he was funny, relatable, and resilient, and despite being unhoused, he never let his circumstances define him!! #adifferentworld taken in North Carolina by @sophabun_

My first North Carolina NAACP State Convention!! I am extremely grateful to be part of an organization (@naacpyc_ ) that empowers young people to find their voice and use it to advocate for justice and change. Special shoutout to Nevaeh Hodge for your incredible leadership and constant support, and @_keturahdaijah for an excellent presentation and our conversation about leadership, literature, and of course Beyoncé. Thank you for sharing your wisdom and encouraging us to continue growing as leaders! To my phenomenal advisor, @sendrawyvette, your leadership continues to inspire me, and it was amazing to watch all of your hard work be recognized this weekend. A special thank you to @official.paige_5 for not only offering advice on leadership, but also for leaving me with a message I will never forget: “rewrite the narrative.” I am also grateful for the opportunity to connect with the High Point NAACP Youth Council @naacp_hpyc and the High Point University NAACP Youth Council @naacp_hpu. I left this weekend feeling inspired, empowered, and excited for the future!! taken in High Point, North Carolina by @sophabun_

not everything from this week made it on camera, however we learned so much in the emergency medicine track: splinting, suturing, intubation practice, clinical interviewing, and hearing from incredible speakers.

we also had hands‑on labs and lecture sessions covering medical school prep, the MCAT, interviewing, and what it really takes to pursue medicine.

So grateful for everyone who made this opportunity possible. @uncchapelhill @outsetcamps
