Three countries, endless chaos, carbs, and castles
🇭🇺🇸🇰🇵🇱

Budapest gave me cosy apartment dinners, Ruins Bar nights, a prosecco cruise past Parliament, and every castle/hall/bastion my legs could handle, before melting into Szechenyi 🧖‍♀️✨

Bratislava? Popped in for the Blue Church, stayed because a man literally emerged from a manhole to say hi. Cumil, you little legend 🤪

Warsaw wrapped it up with churches, castles, the Rising exhibition, the Palace of Culture & Science, a Poland vs Turkey scream fest, and trying out pierogi + apple cake 🥟🍰 taken in Budapest, Hungary by @sophiaa_bucci

Munich & Berlin… you were wild 🇩🇪
From pretending I lived in a fairytale at Neuschwanstein, to palace hopping at Linderhof, to getting lost in Marienplatz, to touching history at the Berlin Wall & Brandenburg Gate…and then immediately undoing all that culture with Oktoberfest nights I will never be able to explain 😜🍻

Tirana → Sarandë → Ksamil → Himarë → Gjirokastër… and somehow we survived 156 shots in 5 days 🤪🍸

Made it a mission to find that Ksamil hand, found the Blue Eyes and saw some spectacular caves and beaches 🥹

Croatia served views & Corfu served vibes. Paxos, Antipaxos, the blue caves, the Temple of Aphrodite and the Old Fortress 🇭🇷 🇬🇷

Rhodes served beaches… 🏝️
The Palace of the Grand Master, Old City Walls, Kanari Beach, Kato Petres, Symi Island, Saint George Bay…
and the universe served me a Harry Styles twin. Consider me booked and blessed 😻✨

Three countries, countless stories, and a very confused immune system later 🇦🇹🇧🇬🇲🇰

Austria swept me off my feet (and briefly knocked me out with food poisoning), but I still wandered through St Stephen’s Cathedral, the Albertina Museum and Schönbrunn Palace like nothing could stop me. Hallstatt and the skywalk lift are officially on my comeback list.

Bulgaria was a necessary pilgrimage, Sophia in Sofia, obviously! Hiked the 7 Rila Lakes, visited Rila Monastery, and accidentally ended up in a van full of random men to climb a mountain, oops… Plovdiv, I’m coming for you next time.

… and at one point my bus literally left without me

Wrapped it all up in North Macedonia with Matka Canyon, Vrelo Caves, the Old Bazaar, Millennium Cross, Etno Village… and yes, I even popped in to say hi to Mother Teresa because when in Skopje, you pay respects to the queen of kindness. ✨ taken in North Macedonia by @sophiaa_bucci

Ireland, Northern Ireland + Wales 🇮🇪 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Biked around Kilkenny where they somehow don’t sell Kilkenny beer 🤔 Clonmel was full of future pop stars, queued TWO hours to kiss a rock for ‘luck’ because peer pressure is alive and well, (Blarney castle).

FELL IN LOVE WITH The Cliffs of Moher & Giant’s Causeway 😍 Became Ed Sheeran’s Galway Girl and visited the Derry Girls mural.

Failed to split the G at The Guinness store 😂, went to the Titanic experience and Checked the Dublin–NYC portal for multiverse access. Reunited with a friend I met in a cult, long story… taken in Ireland by @sophiaa_bucci

Scotland, you were a fever dream. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
Started at Hadrian’s Wall, cried happy tears at the Edinburgh Military Tattoo, wandered through Edinburgh castle, detoured to St Andrews to pay respects to the birthplace of golf, and adopted a mini toy Highland cow because… obviously. 🥹

Kayaked Loch Ness in full detective mode searching for Nessie, crashed a Spider Man filming set in Glasgow during a heatwave, and saluted William Wallace in Stirling.

Closed the trip by butchering Scottish & Irish accents with full confidence and zero accuracy. 🤪 taken in Scotland, United Kingdom by @sophiaa_bucci

From the White Cliffs of Dover to London’s red phone boxes, climbing the O2, wandering Windsor Castle, soaking in Roman Baths, chasing Bridgerton scenes, popping into Bristol, pretending I studied at Oxford, questioning why I visited Birmingham??? 🙄 😂
